That's pretty obvious to fans but what we dont know about is if he's under orders to keep the payroll low. That would explain a lot, why he goes after these prove-it type players. They're less expensive.
I never bought in when people said from May on, Maeda was very good. Previous seasons success doesn't mean he'll be good every year. Falling off a cliff happens.
