  1. Depends on what we are getting in return. Overall I’d say Rainer—furthest away and the most unknown trajectory as of now
  2. He threw four fastballs outside of the left handed batters box and hit a right handed hitter. He’s cooked. Burnt even.
  3. Throwing it to the backstop….
  4. If we sit Maeda through a three game in two days stretch where every other reliever has pitched and we have a 7 run lead at the end of the last game—-then he should just be outright released.
  5. Nice inning Guenther! Can definitely go at least one more
  6. In this situation I’d be ok with Skubal at least starting the 7th inning
  7. Say his name and he appears! I believe in McKinstry!
  8. Agreed. You can look at all the statistics you want, but the defenders still have to execute. The throw needs to be good and the infielder still has to catch it/hold onto it and make a tag. There’s a lot that can potentially go wrong with all of that- as we saw with that Javy play
  9. Javy is a menace on the basepaths
  10. I feel like Keith is going to Toledo when Vierling is back. They’re barely playing him
  11. Carp and Tork are both homering today
  12. Not if Vierling is close to a return
  13. Perhaps, but we don’t have a glut of blocked prospects and an entire major league roster full of prospects. With Meadows injury history, we have a clear need for a CF—so there’s an obvious need to hang onto Max. We also don’t have gaping holes on the ML team that need to be addressed before the playoffs like the Orioles did with their pitching. If we were to trade Rainer, Lee, and Briceno or Liranzo for an All-Star 3B with 3 years of team control on a relatively inexpensive contract, I don’t think there’d be a ton of complaints. Clark and McGonigle have clear uses within the future of the club considering current contracts and injury histories to guys ahead of them.
  14. They had every opportunity to acquire pitching last deadline and were too snooty about their prospects to upgrade. (Orioles)
  15. Clausen?
  16. “Detroit Rions” - Roger Goodell
