Tell you what, since that second inning, Jack Flaherty is born again hard. Even that hit this inning was a soft little flare. Otherwise, he’s pounding the Yanks into the ground so hard, he might get a commission as a general in the next Confederate army.

I have a hybrid that gets maybe 12 to 18 miles on a full charge, depending on the weather. I plug in when it’s in the garage and just let it stay plugged in. Haven’t had a problem with the battery yet, but I have a gas-powered engine backup if it goes tits up. -

I’m not counting on Meadows at all. Not that I think he’ll never come back—I still think at this point it’s more likely he will than won’t—but I’m not waiting for him or even thinking about him. I will get more interested when he does his minor league rehab assignment.
