    I'd be good with that. Alex has the calmer demeanor that works well with Benetti.

    Same. Dickerson is pretty much the same with whomever is in the booth with him, and Dirks is at his best with him. Benetti is too easily distracted when paired with someone who tries to match him at his own game. He's at his best with someone like Peaches or Gibby, both of whom tend to be far more game-focused.

    I've found them to be increasingly annoying and cringey. Dirks became my favorite booth analyst last year when paired with DD, but I'm growing to hate him with Benetti, whose act I'm growing less and less fond of, as well. His Aren't-I-Very-Clever? thing plays better with a more straight-ahead partner who doesn't encourage it so much.

    I agree. I hated him at first, but as I was forced to hear him more I grew to like him a lot. All local guys are massive homer's, so I don't get why Hawk took so much grief for being a ChiSox slappy. It's literally part of the job.
