    I mean, he's right, even if the Cowboys should be favored. The Lions do control their own destiny wrt the 2-seed.

    Goff didn't say that LaPorta doesn't have to go to the ground to make catches, but rather he doesn't have to leave his feet at all, which allows him to begin his YAC immediately. He said that most TEs will hop a bit when making a catch, and LaPorta just naturally doesn't.

    Perna is the best of the NFL/comedy channels, and he genuinely likes the Lions.

    I've shifted from expecting the Lions to win most games to expecting them to lose most of them. It's like someone took a picture of last season, threw it into Photoshop and clicked "flip canvas horizontal." Broncos win 33-17.

    This game was lost when the Lions jumped offsides on a play where the Bears has zero intention of running a play. And dumb penalties all game long didn't help.

    All they had to do was not jump offsides, and they couldn't manage it. This team is so effing stupid in the 3rd qtr. The Bears weren't even gonna run a play. The Lions gave them what they wanted. So effing dumb. God I hate this team in the 3rd qtr.

    I'm not sure what you're doing, lol! You seem pretty sure that Campbell is gonna hire an OC who is incapable of running a successful offense with Goff as his QB.

    You mean the guy Campbell hired before he even knew Goff would be his QB? Yeah, Campbell yeeted that guy the moment it was clear he wasn't the right fit. It's almost as if he learned from his experience, unless you believe that promoting Johnson was just pure luck on Campbell's part, in which case, I'd expect you to be advocating for a new head coach.

    Right. Also, why would Campbell hire an OC who is not on the same page as he is? The assumption that the next OC will not know how to work with Goff is baffling to me.
