I'm unnecessarily pissed of at a game I expected the Lions to lose, and after having already won their division. And it's not even at the 2-point conversion cock-up or the refs: it's all Derrick Barnes. I truly believe that if he sacks Dak for a safety, the game is over based on how well the defense played. I still don't know how it's even possible for him NOT to sack him there.

I missed the last 2 minutes after Goff's 2nd int, so I missed a lot it seems lol. Took my new pup for a walk. I don't know what happened, but I blame the loss on Barnes for running past Prescott in the end zone instead of tackling him for a safety. Everything that happened after that is incidental in my mind.

There are times where I think he's a bit too antagonistic, but then I hear some of the idiotic questions that get asked in these media scrums, and I understand it more. The one with Goff before the game at Soldier Field started with three straight questions about playing in bad weather, and he gave basically the same answer each time. After seemingly moving on for a couple of questions, some dude asked another bad weather question, and I wish Goff had channeled his inner CJGJ on him.

I mean, he's right, even if the Cowboys should be favored. The Lions do control their own destiny wrt the 2-seed.

Goff didn't say that LaPorta doesn't have to go to the ground to make catches, but rather he doesn't have to leave his feet at all, which allows him to begin his YAC immediately. He said that most TEs will hop a bit when making a catch, and LaPorta just naturally doesn't.

Perna is the best of the NFL/comedy channels, and he genuinely likes the Lions.
