  1. Looks like I picked a good game to forget about.
  2. Sudfeld is easy to cut.
  3. I'd rather the Lions not have to travel half-way around the world to play a game.
  4. Thank god the Lions don't have to play in Germany.
  5. Is there a rule that states the Lions must use it all on one player?
  6. His 2023 cap hit is over $18 million. If the Lions are gonna use that much on a single player, I'd prefer it be DL rather than WR when there are plenty of WR options in the draft.
  7. I'd rather draft a WR and let someone else take Sutton's $18 million cap hit.
  8. The price to acquire him isn't the issue, it's the cost to keep him.
  9. I dig the pitch clock. A game like last night's doesn't seem to drag because there is constant level of intensity that won't exist in most regular season games.
  10. That was like a movie ending that you'd roll your eyes at for being cheesy as hell. Unreal.
  11. Wild. Is secondary a strength now?
  12. I think it should accelerate the plan, because these windows open and shut quickly. The North will likely suck next year, and Detroit is in a position to take it and the home playoff game that comes with winning it. The fact that the Lions roster is so young is why I think they should be adding high-end vets to help in their development. That they were in on Ramsey is a great sign, even if it seems like they never had a realistic shot. At least they made the call.
  13. Depends on whether they extend him before the 2023 season or after, and if after, it'll depend on how good Goff was in 2023. If the Lions wait and Goff puts up numbers similar to 2022, he'll be looking for $45-50 mil/year. Joe Burrow is a UFA after the 2024 season, so Cinci will look to extend him after 2023 at the latest. His next contract will be the one that really resets the QB market moving forward, and I wouldn't be surprised if he gets $60 mil/year. If you can lock Goff in around $40 mill/year now, I'd do it, but I like Goff.
  14. If Carter falls to the Lions at 6, I want them to take him.
  15. If Johnson gets an HC gig, who does he take with him from the Lions staff?
  16. He'd have been fine had he not kept pushing his head back. That was an obvious call.
  17. I have zero confidence that the Lions will win this game.
