  1. I'd be livid that Goff didn't get a play off in 26 seconds to preserve the T-O, but relieved that Campbell called it to figure out what to do with the final 10 seconds. Not sure how others would feel, nor do I care.
  2. If we lose this game, it's on Jaymo. Effing child...
  3. Pretty sure Sewell was who most of us wanted, but felt he was out of reach. The board was pretty stoked when we got him.
  4. This is the longest political ad ever.
  5. I'm hoping that they look at it, realize that the ejection was overkill and leave it be.
  6. That's what I was thinking, and I'm kinda worried about it.
  7. Cool. We're gonna lose this game cos Branch had to keep it real. ****ing stupid.
  8. I would accept that deal and sign the paperwork so fast that the Browns wouldn't have time to come to their senses.
  9. Fun game. So who are we firing this week?
  10. Every year I'm stunned at how little draft capital a lot of big names fetch at the deadline.
  11. Yeah that seems wrong to me. They it was because the offense was set, so just a 5-yard penalty, but that shouldn't be allowed, IMO.
  12. Bringing heat on a known Hail Mary play is amazing. The Vikes just assumed zero pressure.
  13. Hell of a 2nd quarter. Let's do that two more times.
  14. LMAO! Silly me. Lions look like the Panthers today.
  15. Since halftime of the GB game, the Vikes have looked less like world-beaters than they did before it. I don't know if that means anything or not, but just taking each teams last two games, the Lions appear to be on the ascent while the Vikes look to have come down to earth a bit. The NFL is a week-to-week league, though, and losing Hutch is massive. I expect a close, higher scoring game that either team could win. I'd be surprised by a blowout in either direction.
  16. You're assuming Hutch will be the same when he returns, which is not guaranteed. Also, the cap could be $40-million higher by 2026. Look, I don't think it's gonna happen, but it's not as fantastical a proposition as you're making it seem.
  17. Awesome! Who the hell is Shane Ferrell?
  18. If the Lions acquired Crosby, they would have $40.22 milion (prorated) between he and Hutch this year, and $39.58 million in 2025. Crosby is locked in at $24.82 million for 2026, so the Lions could move him after 2025 if they needed to make room for Hutch's new contract -- and that's assuming Hutch fully recovers from his injury to be the same player he was before it. If he doesn't (and isn't), you can extend Crosby. Either way, the Lions would have options after the 2025 season.
  19. You just dated yourself, lol! And now I just did, too. Damn.
  20. Crosby is under contract for two seasons after this one, so his salary is not going to go up in that period of time. Hutch isn't due for a contract until 2026, Alim is set through 2028 and Reader is here through next season. With Crosby, the Lions would have arguably the best D-line at least through 2025, and possibly through 2026 depending on what they do with the other DT position after 2025. That's a 3-year window of being legit NFC Champ favorites. I was of the opinion that the Raiders would never trade Crosby, but after seeing that interview I'm thinking it's more of a possibility.
  21. Wow. They could probably still afford Myles Garrett were he to be made available, which he probably won't due to the $56-million dead cap hit. But who knows, the Browns are a plugged toilet at the moment. I'm happy to have Alim locked up, though.
