    Peralta needs 27 pitches and loads the bases before he gets out of the 1st inning without allowing a run.

    Keating and C-Mo seem to be itching for a fight. Kind of reminds me of the beginning of Gone With the Wind where the south is looking for a quick short fight and victory. I expect the media to want a story. In reality I cannot see any practical good emerging from a fight.

    Weatherwise this game should be OK. Saturday and Sunday there’s a 60% chance of rain in the forecast but you never know how that’s going to play out. Often times it means nothing other times not.

    I like your style. You actually want to win games instead of settle scores. Good idea. It would be such sweet revenge to sweep the White Sox in Chicago. It would produce a warm glow in a heart that would sustain us all through the winter. Even a win or two would do that, really, but a sweep would be amazing.

    I would find great delight in the Tigers allowing their starting pitcher to face the first two batters in the White Sox lineup then took him out and onto the field walked Brandon Inge activated for one game only specifically to bean Jose Abreu.

    I did not know that. I’d never heard it but it doesn’t surprise me. I guess it made Calvin Griffith shudder to know that Prince grew up in Minneapolis. Although he was probably dead by then. When Niko was being interviewed last night he said it was cool that it was Prince Night at Target Field.
