  1. Our murderer’s row of Ryan Kreidler, Zach McKinstry, Javier Báez coming up in the top of the 6th. Actually, this game is pretty much playing out the way I expected it to, so I’m not all that disappointed.
  2. Jobe can’t find the strike zone anymore. Walks 2 in a row and is pulled. They stretched him out to 50 pitches though which is good.
  3. So far Andy Ibáñez is the only Tiger who’s been able to do against Max.
  4. I was thinking of the six man rotation too, except for our Cy Young winner.
  5. I don’t think so. He had a rocky first inning, but it looks like a fairly clean second inning and I think he was done. All I could do was follow at bat though.
  6. It’s Jobe vs. Scherzer tomorrow.
  7. Leave him in.Brad Ausmus would do that to show that he had faith in his abilities.
  8. Need a triple play.
  9. C’mon Guenther.
  10. Greene is 3-3 with two singles and a double today.
  11. It’s now 11 runs. Andrew Navigato homers (1) on a fly ball to right center field. Hao-Yu Lee scores.
  12. Mize works two innings gives up one hit, no runs, strikes out three. The Tigers have scored nine runs in five innings. I’m deliriously happy. This is me being deliriously happy. It’s my poker face happy. Where’s my 12 runs?
  13. Tork 3-3. Two HR and a single.
  14. So Montero isn’t Sandy Koufax but if he’s a 5th starter, that’s good. And all these runs. Torres with a bomb and Tork with two. Lots of contributors.
  15. Montero is scoreless in two appearances so far this spring. We’ve actually had a lot of good starts by starting pitchers. This bodes well even though it’s just spring training.
  16. I’m looking forward to a string of 6-0 victories the next few years.
  17. That’s a cool photo of Kaline.
  18. https://ktla.com/news/new-renderings-show-how-as-ballpark-would-transform-las-vegas-strip/amp/ “(The) parking garage would be 11 levels — nine above street level and two below — and is expected to provide 2,500 parking spaces. Access to the site from the Las Vegas Strip is detailed in the proposal, which lists eight driveway entrances into the venue. Two of them would exist along Las Vegas Boulevard, three along Reno Avenue, and three along Tropicana Avenue. It also predicts pedestrian bridges would lead visitors to an entrance area. Additionally, the paperwork states that event attendees would have “numerous travel options to attend an event, other than driving.” Those options include rideshares like Uber or Lyft, taxis, RTC transit, shuttle busses, limousines, walking paths, and the Las Vegas Loop, which is currently under continuous construction by Elon Musk’s Boring Company.”
  19. https://abc7news.com/post/what-rays-moving-minor-league-ballparks-means-mlb/15983208/ This is a pretty good article about the Athletics and the Rays playing in minor-league ball parks and the political and financial issues revolving around these two teams and its relation to MLB in general. It’s actually a fairly long article and a good read.
  20. Yes, that’s my thought. Everybody needs a day off anyway.
  21. And is so often the case I am right because there are no games scheduled for Thursday.
