  2. That was painful.
  3. Dan was surprised when he was telling us about it
  4. Sunday Charlie Maxwell 97 years old today. Saw him hit home runs in both games of a doubleheader at Comiskey against the Yankees when I was 12 years old and he was of course with the White Sox by then.
  5. Tork again. Tedious.
  6. Wenceel is amazing. Somebody tell me that we’re no longer gonna trade a player like this for some toolsie high school kids that are four years away.
  7. Colt Ks again
  8. Montero is at 145 innings this year. He might be running out of gas.
  9. Riley Greene singles on a sharp line drive to right fielder Josh Lowe. Parker Meadows scores. Matt Vierling to 3rd.
  10. Andy I think said Verling acted like he had Q-tips in his ears.

  12. Homer off Montero

  17. I’m starting to get excited. I’m starting to enter into Deadpool terrain, and making an educated wish.
  18. Wenceel drives in Riley. I love this guy.
  19. Riley double
  20. Whew… Wenceel snags it. A bit too much excitement for me in the first ending hopefully Montero settles down.
  21. Erie won the Eastern League title. Cool.
  22. Posts like this are the reason I still come here. Thank you.
  23. Although I don’t have much data to base this assumption on, I always got the feeling the Tigers had an unsystematic way of developing players. The broadcasting staff at least gives this impression now where they talk about something akin to a “Tigers Way“ of developing players from the earliest stages up to the major league level, which by inference means they didn’t used to do it this way, that there wasn’t really a tiger’s way. They talk about how the new guys who have come up, have risen through the system and been developed in the same manner so I get the impression that the system in the past used to be kind of scattershot.
  24. Totally
