I had a great, busy day and didn’t get around to following this game. I’m glad we won! Saw ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ for the second time in three days — in IMAX the first time — this time in 4DX RealD 3D where the seats tossed me around 4 times more than any other film l'd seen in that format, and the water, snow, cold, and wind I was sprayed with were really pronounced. Hung out with my son, had pizza and watched the Wesley Snipe classic ‘Blade’ on TV. Seeing that we won is a wonderful nightcap. things were so great. I just forgot. I wish every day were this good.

What a drag. I got interested, interested, very interested, but suddenly I’ve lost interest.

This seems to be an unscheduled bullpen game. I think if we were in Minnesota this wouldn’t have happened.

Well, I guess I should pay better attention to what the hell is going on. I blame society. I blame society for my inability to pay attention to obvious facts.

This game is beginning at 5:40 PM Central. That seems totally bizarre to me. Is everybody’s Mom in Minneapolis-St. Paul sending them to bed early for some reason?

Hope Montero can toss a 79 pitch complete game tomorrow. But I am very happy for a bullpen win. These guys are surprisingly entertaining this year.

At least the last out was a ground out and not a ball 2 inches out of the strike zone called a strike.

I only just now checked in, but has this umpire been generous to the pitchers all night or does he just hate the tigers?

I honestly forgot this game was even happening. I got caught up in it being 103° again and thanks to nearby fires we had an air quality rating of almost 300 and I was nauseous all day. At least we weren’t shut out. But with so many arms out of commission tonight’s game, may be predictive of a lot of games to come. I’m just glad we weren’t scoreless.

I’m not interested in trades right now because I just saw that we now have a +3 run differential. Everything is fine. I’m going to party like it’s 1999, without a care for the morrow.

Just turned on the game, but they’re wasting all their time on “pick the stick“ and I also miss the good old days of MLB TV when they didn’t have much advertising and they would broadcast either dead air or the same ED commercial over and over again. From the background, it looks like the game is beginning on time.

There’s a light drizzle according to my weather app but this is variable and it could be harder some places more than another.
