Jason said if they had put anyone else in Hinch was probably thinking they’d give up three runs and they’d have to bring in Finnegan anyway so why not bring him in now. I found this explanation, brutally honest. Also Hinch plays one game at a time.

Surprised the umpire didn’t call the McKinstry hit by pitch a strike.

I’m surprised Skubal only has four strikeouts when the umpire is calling anything near the strike zone a strike.
