    It’s not like Riley is a diminutive shortstop or second baseman, so there’s no rationale for him to bat lead off.

    But I’m not happy because I don’t approach these things rationally or temperately. I’m an emotional fan. We had a lead and lost it in the ninth inning. I’m like a drug addict passed out in the alley and somebody stole my fix and I’m not happy just because they didn’t steal my money too.

    Wow, Detroit is having some very warm weather. For this time of year at least.

    None of them appear to be wearing ladies underwear. Not that there would be anything wrong with that, as Jerry Seinfeld would say.

    The AL has 9 teams at .500 or above and the AL Central has 4 of them, the White Sox being the only sub-.500 team, and even they swept 3 games this weekend from the Rays.
