This game is technically still winnable, but all along I thought if we won one of three that would be at least a moral victory. Sure would like to win it though and take the series but something surprising will have to happen.

Sanchez is gonna be around a long time if we can’t get an eight or nine pitch at bat out of him a couple times

Getting out of the bottom of the second by only allowing one run is a victory of sorts.

Second and third and no outs for Philadelphia. This is getting dicey.

They’re still showing the Little League game on ESPN and on ESPN2 it’s supposed to be the Statcast version

Just as a note of interest, the Chicago White Sox are 10–4 since the All-Star break, winning series against the Pirates, Tampa Bay, Philadelphia, and the Angels.

Just to be safe because it’s so often an issue I checked all the driveway cams I could find in Philadelphia and I can safely say it’s not raining.
