Weirdly, I may feel better about the Wings’ playoff chances after this 3-0 loss than I did before the game.

Ken Kal reminds us why the Wings are playing back to back games in Ottawa. I knew it had been due to a prior cancellation of some sort but had forgotten the details.

Bertuzzi on a breakaway made it 1-0!  Hellberg just made a really nice save on the penalty kill too....make it two great saves on back door passes.

Stutzle really is a flopper, he hit the deck after Copp barely lifted his stick.  Of course it is called.

 

Now Tkachuk is playing into the family name and chirping the whole Wings bench at intermission.  It was a fun little act he was doing behind the linesman.

As much as I dislike fighting in hockey, when the officiating runs like like this you might as well start a big brawl, make your point and get your money's worth.

if you think simon edvinsson is going to be a physical presence at this point...or soderblom....it tells me you havent seen them play.
