MichiganCardinal Posted February 13, 2023 Posted February 13, 2023 We’ve come a long way from when Janet Jackson‘a wardrobe malfunction shocked the nation’s senses. Quote

MichiganCardinal Posted February 13, 2023 Posted February 13, 2023 I’m not sure the performance was any better than all the other halftime performances, but the videography and cinematic presentation of this one was phenomenal. Quote
Motor City Sonics Posted February 13, 2023 Posted February 13, 2023 I went and took a shower, and did some dishes and build a Lego Michigan Stadium..........and it's still halftime ! Quote
Motown Bombers Posted February 13, 2023 Posted February 13, 2023 WTF, Chiefs don't make Reid available at half if they are losing? I didn't know they could do that. Quote

MichiganCardinal Posted February 13, 2023 Posted February 13, 2023 Why the fuck did the NFL play games with the turf for the damn Super Bowl. They grew this turf for two god damn years for it to be dog shit on the biggest stage?? Quote
ben9753 Posted February 13, 2023 Posted February 13, 2023 I’ve seen NHL games where players slid less. Quote
MichiganCardinal Posted February 13, 2023 Posted February 13, 2023 Breaking Bad commercial gets a thumbs up for me. I’ve already forgotten what product it’s for though and I don’t really care. Quote
Jason_R Posted February 13, 2023 Posted February 13, 2023 If KC somehow wins this the MVP might be this Pacheco kid. Quote
Mr.TaterSalad Posted February 13, 2023 Author Posted February 13, 2023 When you watch this game and think of what the Lions need to be able to beat one of these two teams, what do you think it is that we still need? I know we hung tight with the Eagles week 1 and almost won, but what else do we still need to matchup with elite teams like the Chiefs and Eagles? Quote
MichiganCardinal Posted February 13, 2023 Posted February 13, 2023 Slay got burned on that TD. Patricia was right all along. /s Quote

Counterintuitively to the consensus of this off-season, I think it’s even more offensive firepower. The team that wins tonight will score over 30. The defense just needs to be competent. Quote

The Lions need more athletic linebackers and secondary. Hurts isn't running as free as he was against the Lions. Quote
Motor City Sonics Posted February 13, 2023 Posted February 13, 2023 Andy is proving to be a MUCH better coach than Nick in the 2nd half. This is where Andy Reid should walk away. On top. Quote

MichiganCardinal Posted February 13, 2023 Posted February 13, 2023 Not to second guess Andy Reid but I think I would go for two there. In a game of top tier offenses with less than 10 minutes to go, I trust my offense to get a two-point conversion more than I trust my defense to stop one. And worst case you’re still up 7. Quote

I don't. Kansas City and Philadelphia both look like they have more sideline to sideline speed on defense and I don't think the Lions can guard Kelce. The Lions offense can put up the points. Quote

Not right now, but I think they’re close with a couple additions to the secondary. Just prevent the big play. Quote

Maybe Rodrigo can, maybe Tracy Walker or Okudah. But I'm with you, it really feels like having a LB who can cover sideline to sideline, and not get crushed in open field over the middle, would be a huge boon for this defense. Quote
MichiganCardinal Posted February 13, 2023 Posted February 13, 2023 Looking like the winner might score 40+ now. The Lions defense right now could put up the same outcome these defenses have. Offense, offense, offense. Quote
