Are Schoop and Hernandez both going to make the team?

I'd rather they keep Schoop.  He is a better defender, two years younger and had a good offensive season more recently than Hernandez.  I'd just hate to see them keep both.

This is fantastic! Get talent wherever you can it!

Given the Tigers new focus on kinesiology, they must be seeing something in his delivery that is smooth, strong and repeatable.

I hate the WBC, so not aware of this kid.  Legit prospect?

I’m gonna give Harris some rope on this one. I’m not ready to write him off yet. Let’s see how he pans out.

I just like the idea of finding talent in not the tired and true usual ways.

I agree—no harm done.  But he’s already 21, 5’10” and doesn’t throw very hard, so expectations need to be managed.

Its on at 10pm on a work night for me.  4:30am comes awfully early.  If it were Tiger playoff games, I could deal with it from having a real rooting interest.

Sure, people shouldnt be expecting the second coming of Mariano Rivera.

But nonetheless, the WBC presents a unique scouting opportunity for a lot of players who dont have a ton of exposure. It's nice to see the org utilizing it as a means to identify talent.

It was a bit of hyperbole.  Indifference is probably more accurate.

I really don’t hate many things—except for you now.
