So the 5-way tie at 2-2 did happen. This was the tiebreaker mechanism.  If only the tiebreaker had been decided by putting each team captain into one room and whoever solved that math formula quickest would be the winner. Accuse me of bias or of (positive) stereotyping, but I would have liked the Taiwan guy’s chances. Instead it ended Cuba, Italy, Netherlands,  Panama and Taiwan in that order.

Nothing about a series of bat tosses followed by hand over hand up the bat towards the knob?

I didn't know that Great Britain even knew what baseball was.

Despite the ambivalence that Brits have for baseball, the sport was actually invented over there lol

Not that I care about them at all, but why does "Great Britain" have a team and not "United Kingdom"?

He can explain the rules to you over a couple PBR's.

With pleasure! It's pretty easy to pick up, actually, if you're already pretty knowledgeable about baseball. I learned it just from watching it.

I don’t see teams releasing star players in the future after the Diaz season ending injury.

Tore Patellar Tendon in right knee. Crazy because it did not even happen during the game....

Mets are all-in this season.  Will be interesting to see how they replace him.  Wish we had a closer we could send them—their desperation would make them a great trade partner.

Is Cisnero bolted down to Detroit?
