Yup, right now that is America.  I'm not disagreeing there is a problem.  I just don't think putting the non-aggressor, who didn't try and stand his ground (which isn't allowed in Wisconsin), but rather attempted to flee first, in jail just because you feel guns are bad is the right solution.

I am not too surprised that a 17-year-old kid would keep changing is story.  Wasn't he originally there to provide medical assistance?  He seems confused and impressionable like many his age.  I am more concerned about a system which allows a kid like that to carry a gun and a society that views him as a hero.

Black lives matter is a terrorist organization.  Everyone can see that by their rhetoric about killing police.  Their comment on Rittenhouse is laughable especially coming from them.  They spew enough hate and violence to last a lifetime.

It doesn't happen in a dinner conversation.  It builds up over a lifetime.  These people have never trusted our government and they have received confirmation.  I think they always believed these things, but were afraid to say it and felt powerless to do anything about it until Trump.  Social media does allow them to connect with like thinking people more easily.

I agree that it doesn't happen in a dinner conversation. I agree that they were already distrustful of the government. I would disagree with the notion that practically all were already radicalized before social media, or that social media had little if any effect on them. I believe social media was used purposefully to radicalize a great number of people otherwise quiet about their previously pushed-down beliefs, and that Trump was a key utilizer of that strategy.

Uh-oh, Rittenhouse is flipping the script on the narrative.  With a good PR firm, a year from now, instead of CPAC, he might be leading BLM rallies, with BLM allies noting he killed 2 white people that were sabotaging their peaceful protests, as the right calls him a socialist.

As cynical as people are about Rittenhouse's appearance on Tucker, he's still an 18 year old who probably doesn't have fully formulated views on a lot of these issues. In a country where the voting populace tends to have much more mixed views on the issues than is portrayed in the media. So in that sense, maybe it shouldn't be surprising if he's more sympathetic to BLM than people realize.

Looked to me like he was running toward something and got overtaken by people looking to disarm him. If he were running away he would have been busting tail 100%. Instead he was basically jogging. No sale.
