Back when I was in school it was Finney and then they replaced it with East English Village Preparatory Academy. My parents sent me to Catholic school and I fortunately made it through unmolested. I remember a shooting happening at East English Village Preparatory Academy and I believe it was gang related. They shot a kid before or after graduation. I seem to recall Finney had metal detectors as did a lot of Detroit public schools at the time. I believe the shooting at East English Village Preparatory Academy happened in the parking lot. Quote
