He will certainly be around next year. After that it’s $10M and $5M. That’s manageable. But yeah, Holmes had to fill out the roster. I assume Goff will start next year with a rookie on the bench. The rookie will eventually win the job and Goff will be the backup until his contract expires and then he will be a backup the rest of his life. Quote
