You would think that if a guy doesn't throw very hard, and you can't pickup his pitch speed, you'd basically go to dink mode and just stay back and try to dink him to death. I know, what am I thinking- - that would require the ability to shift gears in game. Part of the problem with being down by only one - they'd rather all keep trying to tie it on one swing.

Jeffrey Springs is pitching a no-hitter through 6.   Shep and Capt. Happy should be mentioning this after every batter.

CMun has never seen a Tigers opposing pitcher who wasnt in line for the Cy Young.

And also a coaching staff to actually coach em up on it...I'm not really sure what Hinch actually does at this point.

decent pitching and horrible hitting seems like we been there before.....

The pitching was a disaster yesterday, but that felt like a one-off. The hitting kinda doesn't, which is scary for sure

which was my concern the whole off season when you dont add anyone who has a track record of hitting in the majors

Mud Hens tied 0-0 in the 4th.  They don't have any hits either!  Some guy named Goudeau is pitching.

Waiting for Goudeau to give up a run?

If Siri got the huge jump at first after two throws over that Dan said he did, then Foley might as well as thrown over the third time to try to get him and risk the balk call, because Siri ended up just waltzing to second anyway.

not a smart move by Foley throwing to first twice

If you throw over twice, you might as well thow the third one and either give him the base or pick him off.

EDIT: LOL _ as Chas just posted.....
