Dtrain72 Posted April 2, 2023 Posted April 2, 2023 According to Merriam-Webster, the phrase "unmitigated ass" is: in regards/reagrding to MLB, Detroit Tigers 2022-2023 offense. Quote
gehringer_2 Posted April 2, 2023 Posted April 2, 2023 (edited) You would think that if a guy doesn't throw very hard, and you can't pickup his pitch speed, you'd basically go to dink mode and just stay back and try to dink him to death. I know, what am I thinking- - that would require the ability to shift gears in game. Part of the problem with being down by only one - they'd rather all keep trying to tie it on one swing. And also a coaching staff to actually coach em up on it...I'm not really sure what Hinch actually does at this point. Quote
Hongbit Posted April 2, 2023 Posted April 2, 2023 Javy’s slick glove work is the exact opposite of his approach to a two strike slider 8 inches off the plate. Quote
Dtrain72 Posted April 2, 2023 Posted April 2, 2023 Ugh, whelp I'm out...thought maybe they'd at least keep me around until the 7th inning today, they got close, baby steps, baby steps... Quote
Toddwert Posted April 2, 2023 Posted April 2, 2023 decent pitching and horrible hitting seems like we been there before..... Quote
Jim Cowan Posted April 2, 2023 Posted April 2, 2023 Mud Hens tied 0-0 in the 4th. They don't have any hits either! Some guy named Goudeau is pitching. Quote

gehringer_2 Posted April 2, 2023 Posted April 2, 2023 They might want to drop Foley off 60 miles short when they come north to Detroit. Quote

Tenacious D Posted April 2, 2023 Posted April 2, 2023 The team is completely out of sorts in almost every phase. Let’s hope it’s just a team slump they can snap out of. Quote

Toddwert Posted April 2, 2023 Posted April 2, 2023 not a smart move by Foley throwing to first twice Quote
chasfh Posted April 2, 2023 Posted April 2, 2023 If Siri got the huge jump at first after two throws over that Dan said he did, then Foley might as well as thrown over the third time to try to get him and risk the balk call, because Siri ended up just waltzing to second anyway. Quote
