The inexperience is a valid call out.  It was a bit of a disappointing season for him on the surface, but he was a rookie with very little professional experience, he wasn't the only hitter that struggled, there were metrics that suggested he was a bit unlucky with results despite hitting the ball hard.  Yes, 2022 stunk.  Can't wait to see where he's at around Memorial Day.  I think we're going to see significant improvements in the numbers.

I saw something on line last night regarding the Tigers horrible showing in Tampa last weekend to the last couple of games in Houston. Some speculation that the Tigers had a hard time seeing the ball in that dome. It also lauded to comments from other players as well. 
 

Has anyone seen anything similar?

Maybe, or he's just not being tenative and thus pulling the trigger a lot sooner.
