Tigerbomb13 Posted April 12, 2023 Posted April 12, 2023 Manning doesn’t look sharp. Even his 1-2-3 1st had hard contact. Quote

Channel 20, right? 😉 Yeah, for some inexplicable reason, the syncing last year between radio overlay and the video was perfect for road games, but the overlay was a split second before the video for home games and you could hear the crack of the bat before seeing it. I think they pretty much fixed that now. Quote
mtutiger Posted April 12, 2023 Posted April 12, 2023 Leaving way too much on the plate with Manoah right now Quote
casimir Posted April 12, 2023 Author Posted April 12, 2023 The Tigers are really working Manoah over, although Manoah is allowing it by not being sharp. Kind of a shame they only have 3 runs to show for it so far. But they’re going to get into the Toronto bullpen soon. I love digging into the opposing bullpen early in game one of a series. Quote
casimir Posted April 12, 2023 Author Posted April 12, 2023 Ok, quick inning there to keep the pitch count in check for Manning. Let’s see if the hitters can get a RP in this half inning. Quote
kdog Posted April 12, 2023 Posted April 12, 2023 Carpenter has been snakebit...has two huge barrels and 400 footers. Quote
Dtrain72 Posted April 12, 2023 Posted April 12, 2023 I think we all knew how this was gonna turn out...only a matter of time...especially with the offense probably already blowing their load early. Quote
kdog Posted April 12, 2023 Posted April 12, 2023 2 balls over 105 MPH; 400 feet each. Jays now lead. Quote
kdog Posted April 12, 2023 Posted April 12, 2023 Manning gave them 6 functional innings. Offense has not cashed in when given chances. Quote
kdog Posted April 12, 2023 Posted April 12, 2023 Riley Greene has struck out on more than 1/3 of his plate appearances. Quote
Motor City Sonics Posted April 12, 2023 Posted April 12, 2023 Englert - first pitch goes bye bye. Ugh. Quote
kdog Posted April 12, 2023 Posted April 12, 2023 Tigers had 3 baserunners after the 4th; The Jays hit 4 solo home runs. Quote
chasfh Posted April 12, 2023 Posted April 12, 2023 Looks like High-A Mason Englert showed up tonight. It would be 9-0 except for a single hit. I’m out. Quote
Motor City Sonics Posted April 12, 2023 Posted April 12, 2023 It was 5-3, I went to the bathroom..............WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED? And it was only urination, it didn't take that long. Kind of cruel leaving him out there to suffer. Quote

Motor City Sonics Posted April 12, 2023 Posted April 12, 2023 The way I feel about the way things are going, I am expecting to hear that in Manning's last inning he started feeling pain in his arm and he'll be getting TJ before June. That's just how it is with this team. And to answer your question Tigerbomb, I don't know if they do break 50. But they already fired everyone, so who do you blame now? Chris Illitch for not realizing Al Avila was a bust 2 years earlier? It's 1989-2005 all over again and on that time line we are in about 1996, we are in for a very long, painful slog here. Quote
