So, it will be interesting to see what clauses dealing with the current information op against him from Ryan Day will include.

But how can they extend him if he's the devil and a hypocrite because a bunch of coordinated news releases designed to paint him in the most negative light possible created a narrative for the people who hate the program?

Connor Stallions on the sidelines, actually pretending to be apart of another program as a Grad Assistant or whatever, is a really bad look for Michigan.

I just read an article (SI article) that the ball boys are in on eavesdropping to find out opponents plays lol. I am sure Michigan can not wait for this bye week to be over.

Either Manuel knows a lot more about the parameters of the Stalion situation and knows its full scope it limited, or they are whistling past the graveyard - or maybe they will build in an escape clause if it turns out he was more involved in this mess.  Or else Ward will have to find his version of Branda Tracy....

So, the non-confirmed data points are that:

1. there is a firm in NH that Ryan Day's brother works for.

Continue to use the Ryan Day angle to distract.   It doesn’t matter where the information came from.   At the very least, Michigan had a staffer illegally scout games in person.   That is a violation.  Harbaugh as the head coach is responsible for this whether he knew it or not.

from whatever. just that while whatever sanction Harbaugh might face will depend on whether he knew what was going on or not, whatever sanction if any, the U is hit with, likely won't. The institution can be penalized for lack of control even if no-one at a pay grade above Stalion is held responsible for him individually.

This isn't the military or politics where the guy at the top is responsible for everything some low level person in the organization does, even if they don't know who the person is.   Unless they have proof that Harbaugh was aware of what was going on, he'll skate.

More similarities to March-April 2020 with red alerts scrolling across the screen and reporters breathlessly telling us the sky was falling. This investigation isn’t a nothing burger. But it is … just a cold.

Given the weight of damning evidence and that Michigan refuses to refute the charges levied by Ryan Day...should Michigan be allowed to finish the season and can Jim Harbaugh coach the next game for the Bears of the Raiders?

Listening to Sam Webb's podcast from yesterday...says JJ might stay an extra year to solidify his ranking as best ever in UM history.   That would not happen if Harbaugh had been forced to quit by Ryan Day's info op.
