RandyMarsh Posted November 11, 2023 Share Posted November 11, 2023 (edited) Definitely frustrating to see all the runs and conservative play calling but at the same time when Penn State showed little ability to have a sustained drive on our defense you really didn't have to take any chances after we took the 14-3 lead. Just run the clock pick up a 1st down or 2, then pin them deep and force them to go the length of the field. Until they do you just keep repeating the same process like they did. I said they were playing not to lose and although that is a little bit of an insult it also isn't always the wrong choice.
