Shinzaki Posted November 18, 2023 Posted November 18, 2023 That Maryland WR needs to be more aware and move towards that ball when the QB throws it Quote
MIguy Posted November 18, 2023 Posted November 18, 2023 Michigan gonna screw around and go three and out just to give Maryland another chance and raise my blood pressure even more. 1 1 Quote
Tigerbomb13 Posted November 18, 2023 Posted November 18, 2023 Looked like a pretty clear call to me. No receiver anywhere near the ball. Quote

MichiganCardinal Posted November 18, 2023 Posted November 18, 2023 Iowa is nothing if not predictable. Quote
buddha Posted November 18, 2023 Posted November 18, 2023 you dont show anything in the game before the game. they looked terrible against illinois last year too. worry about the things we should have been worried about all year: michigan's offensive tackles no super athletic receivers pedestrian pass rush only one really athletic cornerback ohio state's receivers Quote
buddha Posted November 18, 2023 Posted November 18, 2023 and this year worry about not having one of the best coaches in football on the sideline. Quote
romad1 Posted November 18, 2023 Posted November 18, 2023 Can I just say the Game promo on Fox using the Eisenhower speech...reminds me of the UFR for the offense from the 2021 game that Seth Fisher wrote. It was a masterpiece. Quote
lordstanley Posted November 18, 2023 Posted November 18, 2023 The Harbaugh suspension is an issue. Michigan didn't look as good against East Carolina, UNLV, Bowling Green, Penn St. (yes) and Maryland than they did against Rutgers, Nebraska, Purdue, Michigan St. and Indiana. I don't think it is a complete coincidence. Quote

MichiganCardinal Posted November 18, 2023 Posted November 18, 2023 I expect an extremely close game. Michigan is the better team, but playing without their head coach matters. Quote

If I were Maryland I wouldn't like to lose a game on that call. I’m pretty sure they changed the interpretation of intentional grounding a few years ago. They don’t want officials officiating intent anymore. Oxymoronic when ruling on intentional grounding. But if he’s (a) in the pocket, (b) not hit such as to impact an otherwise legal throw, and (c) the ball isn’t within ~7 yards of the nearest eligible receiver, they want the flag thrown. They used to “forgive” QBs who weren’t under pressure and threw to a spot where no one was, because the receiver ran the wrong route. For better or worse that’s no longer the case. Quote
