And to think that I almost gave up on this game to go out and rake the yard.

I mowed before the game.  I’ll be honest, I did pull the iPad out to get some landscaping ideas during the earlier innings.

Miggy victory strut

What a fun ending.  Good for him, good for the team.  Man, I hope we get to see the Singuel walk off strut a few more times.

Good for Miggy, but it is kind of sad to see how one of the greatest players in our generation has fallen

In a situation like this, it demonstrates that despite the decline in skills, he knows situational baseball.

If anything, that moment today is the most ideal way to use him... even at his age, it feels like he can be trusted to advance a runner or score them more than most on this team

Not sure if you noticed, but father time eventually catches up to all of us.

Yup.  Over the course of a season, it ain’t likely to look good.  Any given plate appearance, though, can be a magical moment of past glory coming back as a reminder.

3 in a row now, and chipping back from a decent deficit in this game.  It’s got to be such a completely different clubhouse atmosphere than it was just a few days ago.

Seriously, good for Cabrera, good for the team, good for the bullpen, good for Baez.  A lot of guys needed to show a little bit of something and it seems like the kind of game where everyone contributed.  Sure, Lorenzen was shaky, but as was mentioned before, this was kind of a rehab start for him.

After that passed ball, I thought SF would walk the bases loaded to create a force at home. At least walk Cabrera, who has been known to knock in key runs. Yeah, he's older but still a big threat with RISP.

Bullpen was amazing. Good BP usage by Hinch. It won the game for us.

When I went to the store to buy some Kratom and I came out it was 6-1 and Lorenzen was finishing up his day.  I gave up.  Went home, cut the back yard grass and it was 6-3, then cut the front yard it was 6-6, so I watched the rest of the way and wound up happy.   3 in a row.  Whooda thunk it?
