Carolina is quietly a very strong team. But fans of Edmonton and Toronto should be disappointed with anything short of a Cup final appearance now.

Oops, I didn’t even know that, have only been paying attention to the Oilers series and Leafs series. Although watching the Kraken-Avs game now. 

I’m sure Jack Edwards handled the Bruins loss in the calm, mature, restrained manner that he is known for.

So in the past 24 hours or so the two SCF finalists from 2022 and this year’s President’s Trophy winner have been eliminated.

Lol I don't care what happens the rest of the way now that the Bruins lost. Despite having family in Boston I love to see that fan base suffer!

The second round starts on Tuesday and features some exciting matchups. The new favorites to win the Cup are the Maple Leafs, who will face off against a Panthers team that just eliminated the previous favorite. The Oilers and Golden Knights sit behind Toronto as the next two teams with the shortest odds but Las Vegas and Edmonton will go head-to-head in the second round. The Devils will play the Hurricanes and the Kraken now take on the Stars.

Save us, Florida! Panthers win game 1, 4-2. Played a perfect road game, very disciplined. Bobrovsky came up huge when needed, including on a dazzling Leafs PP in the 2nd period.

If Kenny doesn't win a Cup this year in Edmonton and if he gets bounced in the second round by Vegas, is his job on the line? I don't wish Kenny ill will really at this point, just wondering where Edmonton goes from here with Holland.
