Honestly not even sure why they had Haase moving when he got on as well... shouldn't be running into outs against a pitcher who cannot throw strikes

I wonder if that was either a missed hit and run or if Haase thought the dropped ball by the catcher rolled farther away from him than it did so he tried advancing on it on his own. Definitely doesn't make sens to send Haase on a straight steal there.

Rob Deer 1991, 25 hrs, .386 slg

That was only 25 hrs, but yikes.

Chris Davis, Khris Davis, Joey Gallo, Dave Kingman, Gorman Thomas were other guys that hit a lot of home runs but had very low .slg.

In that AB Tork took a FB down the middle and then swung at pitches on the margins. Sometimes what you take is as big a problem. He was maybe looking off speed, whatever - he missed his best chance that time.

Does he do that often or does it just seem like he does ?

He's usually prett good about swinging at strikes, but the whole team is taking a lot of strikes tonight - maybe taking pitches is the game plan - they did get a lot walks off Rea.
