buddha Posted April 28, 2023 Posted April 28, 2023 michael mayer at 18 would be the ultimate kick in the balls. Quote
Motown Bombers Posted April 28, 2023 Posted April 28, 2023 Holmes and Campbell seem excited at least. Quote
MichiganCardinal Posted April 28, 2023 Posted April 28, 2023 I don’t think the pick was a reach. Gibbs was a top ten talent in this draft. But in the context of the trade, I don’t really get it. Quote
sagnam Posted April 28, 2023 Posted April 28, 2023 Does anyone wonder if Holmes dozed off and when he woke up though it was pick 34? Quote
Motown Bombers Posted April 28, 2023 Posted April 28, 2023 His NFL.com comparison is Alvin Kamara. Hopefully that's an on the field comparison. Quote

RedRamage Posted April 28, 2023 Posted April 28, 2023 So the Lions beat the Packers... now ESPN goes to commercial before GB's pick... guess the Lions are the new kings in the North. 🙂 Quote
sagnam Posted April 28, 2023 Posted April 28, 2023 Quote Robinson was widely regarded as the best running back prospect in recent years, but Gibbs isn’t that kind of prospect. Even if you think a running back is worth a first-round pick, it’s hard to imagine why you’d think Gibbs is that running back. Lions at No. 12 take Alabama running back Jahmyr Gibbs ahahahahahahha! buddha Posted April 28, 2023 Posted April 28, 2023 alright. ive calmed down. i still trust you brad. dont let me down and draft a tight end at 18. gibbs was a fast mover in the laat week. walterfootball gave us an A. twitter loves it for the most part. Quote
RandyMarsh Posted April 28, 2023 Posted April 28, 2023 It seems like a reach but him and Bijan were the clear top 2 RBs so all it would've taken was 1 more team that wanted to take a RB and he would've been gone. Probably would've been there at 18 but if you didn't want to miss out on 1 of the top 2 RBs then just take him there and not risk missing out on him. Quote
RandyMarsh Posted April 28, 2023 Posted April 28, 2023 Still would've preferred to just take Bijan at 6. Quote
buddha Posted April 28, 2023 Posted April 28, 2023 we have no cornerbacks signed after next year and we took ANOTHER running back. can we please draft a corner? Quote
Jason_R Posted April 28, 2023 Posted April 28, 2023 There were two potentially game changing RBs. We got one. Figure 18 will be best CB available. Quote
Tenacious D Posted April 28, 2023 Posted April 28, 2023 Gibbs sounds like a bigger Swift. Hopefully more durable. Quote
Motown Bombers Posted April 28, 2023 Posted April 28, 2023 I like Gibbs as a player but 12, yikes. Holmes has earned the benefit of the doubt and they seemed happy with the pick. Quote
buddha Posted April 28, 2023 Posted April 28, 2023 if they take a tight end at 18 this board will explode. Quote

sagnam Posted April 28, 2023 Posted April 28, 2023 Amazing that Rodgers cost the Jets the guy they wanted. Quote
Motown Bombers Posted April 28, 2023 Posted April 28, 2023 Packers still adverse to drafting a WR in the 1st. Quote
