Blame to go around here. Hinch was pushing his luck trying to get Boyd through the end of 6. This is a staff where you should just go ahead and steel yourself against any regrets for pulling a starter too early.

Ibanez has 36 innings in 4 games of OF experience in his professional career.

Nevin has 381 innings in 50 games of OF experience in his professional career.

Maybe they feel that Nevin needs some consistent ABs for a week.   Or they are tweaking his swing a little and want him working that out there instead of here.   Doesn't matter, there won't be any baseball for the next 4 days anyway since it won't stop raining and it'll be 40 degrees to start May.

They will play today.  The radar is swirling, but it looks like a relatively dry window for the game.

Tomorrow is an already scheduled off day.

Tuesday is 50% chance of snow showers, high in the mid 40s.

Wednesday is partly sunny/cloudy, high in the low 50s.

Thursday same as Wednesday, a few degrees warmer.
