gehringer_2 Posted May 6, 2023 Posted May 6, 2023 Short is the quintessential 4A hitter. Can feast at AAA, can't do much of anything at MLB. Quote
Motor City Sonics Posted May 6, 2023 Posted May 6, 2023 Wow..........St. Louis with dumber baserunning than the Tigers in the 9th. 1 Quote
chasfh Posted May 6, 2023 Posted May 6, 2023 Man, what a gutsy play by TORK! That’s not always gonna work, but it did that time. Quote

Dtrain72 Posted May 6, 2023 Posted May 6, 2023 That play by Tork was made with big, giant, balls of steel...this team.....ISFUNTOWATCH Quote
mtutiger Posted May 6, 2023 Posted May 6, 2023 Tremendous team win today... contributions from just about everyone on the field. Love it! Quote
gehringer_2 Posted May 6, 2023 Posted May 6, 2023 Tigers needed 43 games to win 15 last season. 11 games ahead of that pace Quote
gehringer_2 Posted May 6, 2023 Posted May 6, 2023 Faedo hasn't gone more than 4 inning this season. Going to be more BP work tomorrow. Quote
lordstanley Posted May 6, 2023 Posted May 6, 2023 Hmm, what if the Tigers don’t actually suck?! 1 Quote
Tiger337 Posted May 6, 2023 Posted May 6, 2023 The season is looking a lot like 2021 with the slow start followed by a lot wins in close games led by a surprsingly strong bullpen and timely hitting. They played over their heads in 2021. This year, they don't seem to be. I don't think they are hitting up to their potential and are still hanging in there. That is a good sign. Quote

If Tork, Green, and even Badoo all start to hit, this team will win alot of games. Quote
holygoat Posted May 6, 2023 Posted May 6, 2023 So what do you do if the Tigers are still playing decent and within reasonable distance of 1st place in a terrible Central division in July? There are solid arguments for both selling and for going for it, and I'm not yet sure what I'd do. Quote
Tigermojo Posted May 6, 2023 Posted May 6, 2023 Baez, Haase, Vierling and McKinstry have been hot for a couple weeks with timely hits from Greene and RBIs from others. With the bullpen and the defense, if they get ahead, they are tough to beat. Quote
Tigerbomb13 Posted May 6, 2023 Posted May 6, 2023 Watching Tork’s post game interview, it looks like he’s going out for sloppy steaks 1 Quote
