Tenacious D Posted June 3, 2023 Posted June 3, 2023 When you have a team of Punch and Judy hitters, you have to bunt that runner over. Hinch showed Maton, and then Short, undue respect. Quote
chasfh Posted June 3, 2023 Posted June 3, 2023 Well, I guess we can't keep Cisnero on the team and never give him a chance in a big situation. After all, if we want anything for him at the deadline, we need him to perform at times like now. Quote
Dtrain72 Posted June 3, 2023 Posted June 3, 2023 Just tuned in, and see the offense is still unmitigated ass...keep trottin schoop, inanez, nevin, and maton out there whilst keeping guys who should be in those spots in the minors, gj harris... Quote

Remember Harris didn't draft him. There's not going to be any loyalty from the front office. What other options do the Tigers have? There isn't anyone in the minors that appears to be MLB quality they can put at first. Ilitch isn't going to pay for any FAs unless they are the bargain bin type of guys. He'll be 24 in August, so he is still relatively young. And it's not like Ilitch is trying to win anyway. Quote
Sports_Freak Posted June 3, 2023 Posted June 3, 2023 Cisnero should just throw a wild pitch. All 3 runs in the game would score on wild pitches. 1 1 Quote
chasfh Posted June 3, 2023 Posted June 3, 2023 What a great effort by Cisnero on the 11-pitch at bat against Grandal. Hinch comes out with the attaboy and how to beat Burger. Mmmmm .... burgerrrr ... Quote

Harris doesn't keep players that cost too much. Quote
tiger2022 Posted June 3, 2023 Posted June 3, 2023 What is the rate for a .240, 12 home run a year first baseman? I doubt if he will demand big bucks in arbitration unless he improves a lot. Quote

chasfh Posted June 3, 2023 Posted June 3, 2023 And that was definitely a wild pitch because Haase did not call for a pitch at umpire-face level. 1 Quote
Sports_Freak Posted June 3, 2023 Posted June 3, 2023 Lmfao...all runs are given away. Hurry up, MLB. Add more teams. Diluted talent much? What a F'ing joke! Quote
Dtrain72 Posted June 3, 2023 Posted June 3, 2023 Lol, everything about this team right now is unmitigated ass Quote
Sports_Freak Posted June 3, 2023 Posted June 3, 2023 What a 2 day waste of pitching. Hurry back, Riley. Quote
lordstanley Posted June 3, 2023 Posted June 3, 2023 What the hell just happened. Someone has to help Cisnero steal Haase’s signs. 1 Quote
Hongbit Posted June 3, 2023 Posted June 3, 2023 That’s a tough WP. 99% of catchers get that ball and don’t endanger the umps life. Quote
Tigermojo Posted June 3, 2023 Posted June 3, 2023 Hard to believe some of these jokers are getting paid millions. Quote
Adullin Posted June 3, 2023 Posted June 3, 2023 What a creative way to lose. All three runs came off wild pitches. I want to curse right now. Quote

There is literally no point in not bringing some guys up and seeing what they got at this point...it's making me doubt Harris. Quote
