I was there, too.  Was watching Twitter as much as I was the game.

I was on vacation up north at Michigan Adventure and drained my battery following along.

I remember seeing video of Dombrowski in the tunnel to the dugout trying to get their attention to get him off the field.  Once the game starts only field personnel are allowed in the dugout.  He couldn't go past a certain point.

Also.... Suarez at SS... hurts.

Bat Boy thinks we should have kept Candelario

Listen... when I want advice about building a Hockey Team roster, then I'll consult Bat Boy.  As far as baseball is concerned, Bat Boy doesn't know $#!% and needs to sit down and shut up.

Kind of wish it had been somewhere else.  Just makes him more of an Astro with his HOF legacy.

This is suddenly all I can think about right now, and it would cut deep if he were to go into the Hall as an Astro.

That said, I’d rather that JV get traded to a contender than to have to hear Jeimer Candelario’s name again for the rest of 2023 (after just skimming through the posts over the past couple of days).

Damn it, though, I really dislike JV back in Houston.

It's an individual award.  He'll go in as Justin Verlander.  We can claim him as a Tiger either way and that is likely the hat that will go on his plaque anyway.

I don't know.  I'm not too good at judging prospect trades because most of them don't amount to anything.  Kjerstad is certainly well regarded.

Just listen to the prospect hounds.

For everyone else's sake, I'm gonna get off Candy's Wild Ride now and wait to see which dominoes fall among players actually on this team right now.

Mr. mtu, I don't use the word 'hero' lightly—but you are the greatest hero in American history.
