gehringer_2 Posted July 15, 2023 Posted July 15, 2023 if this is overturned the rule needs to change. Quote
chasfh Posted July 15, 2023 Posted July 15, 2023 (edited) Holy Toledo, what a play at the plate. Too bad it’s gonna be overturned. Dan says he thinks Julio might have hurt himself at third, but I think he hurt himself as the batter-runner crossing first. He was running funny after crossing it. gehringer_2 Posted July 15, 2023 Posted July 15, 2023 Dumb play anyway - you don't risk getting thrown out at third when you'd still be down by 2. Quote
AZTigersfan Posted July 15, 2023 Posted July 15, 2023 Just now, Tigerbomb13 said: I thought Seattle lost their challenge? Yes they did which begs the question why the get two? And of course we get hosed in the deal Quote
lordstanley Posted July 15, 2023 Posted July 15, 2023 (edited) He was pretty clearly safe but I’d like an answer to the TV guys’ question about there having already been a lost challenge. Edited July 15, 2023 by lordstanley Quote
gehringer_2 Posted July 15, 2023 Posted July 15, 2023 Any explanation how they got another challenge after losing one? Quote
Tigerbomb13 Posted July 15, 2023 Posted July 15, 2023 Why wasn’t AJ questioning them getting a second challenge after losing their first? I’m so confused. 1 Quote

Bummer if he can't play the next 2 days, he's a talented kid and fun to watch. Quote
Tigermojo Posted July 15, 2023 Posted July 15, 2023 Crew chief review. Not sure what the rule is on that but the umpire wanted the play reviewed. Quote

SoCalTiger Posted July 15, 2023 Posted July 15, 2023 If Lange could get his fastball over he would be so much better. Quote
Tigermojo Posted July 15, 2023 Posted July 15, 2023 You could see the swing before that he was measuring the curve and he didn't miss the next one. Quote
lordstanley Posted July 15, 2023 Posted July 15, 2023 Ford’s home run “trot” looked like one of those old b&w highlight reels from the ‘30s at jerky high speed. Quote
