It's particularly bad with Tiger writers IMO.

Some of that is likely the lack of quality baseball around these parts

I am personally not interested in what Brandon Dixon is doing, but I agree it's not a problem.

Played some 1B/RF for us in 2019 - 119 games actually.

Part time baseball player, part time surfer dude.  He was a Tiger a few seasons ago.  Might be an answer in an upcoming immaculate grid.

The papers used to do a stat box on former tigers just to put Willie Horton's and later Ben Olgive's stats out there to compare to the late 1970s Tigers who were still trying to break out of the 5th place friend zone.
