Motor City Sonics Posted October 7, 2023 Posted October 7, 2023 LSU's defense might be historically bad. And Brian Kelly killed a kid. Quote

lordstanley Posted October 7, 2023 Posted October 7, 2023 What a braincramp ending to the 1st half by Maryland. Threw away 3 points. 10-10 at the half. Quote
lordstanley Posted October 7, 2023 Posted October 7, 2023 Maryland receivers are weak. So many drops and misses. 17-17 midway through 3rd. Quote

MIguy Posted October 7, 2023 Posted October 7, 2023 Not looking forward to Michigan traveling to Maryland. They've got a damn good team there. Quote
lordstanley Posted October 7, 2023 Posted October 7, 2023 (edited) Sideline interference penalty against Day, lol. Wipes out a 40 yard gain. Update: Ohio St TD on next play so didn’t matter. Still funny though. . Edited October 7, 2023 by lordstanley Quote
MIguy Posted October 7, 2023 Posted October 7, 2023 And of course the second I compliment them, they fall apart. Quote
lordstanley Posted October 7, 2023 Posted October 7, 2023 Texas-Oklahoma tied with 6 minute to go. Great rivalry game. Quote
MIguy Posted October 7, 2023 Posted October 7, 2023 Texas-Oklahoma is getting all the attention, but this LSU-Missouri game is really good as well. Quote

There is an epidemic of coaches not taking sure points. And the thing is, it's sort of self-reinforcing because since they lost by 20, you can look back and justify yourself that 3 points didn't matter. Amirite? Quote

And then in the final minute of the Alabama-A&M game Saban called for a pass that went for incomplete when he could have just taken 3 knees. But tonight’s GT-Miami is an all-time fail. Miami just had to kneel with 35 seconds to go, GT couldn’t stop the clock, instead Miami ran it and fumbled and GT went down and scored a long last-second TD. Quote
Deleterious Posted October 8, 2023 Author Posted October 8, 2023 Iowa had 0 receiving yards from their wideouts today. Only two players caught a pass. Their TE and RB. They still beat Purdue. Quote

lordstanley Posted October 8, 2023 Posted October 8, 2023 (edited) And now USC, needing just a chip shot 25 yard FG to win in regulation, snaps it high and doesn’t even get the kick off. 28-28 into OT. Edited October 8, 2023 by lordstanley Quote

Wisconsin ran it instead of taking the knee, fumbled, Northwestern for the scoop and then a score on the next play for the win. Mario Cristobal is an absolute dunce for running a play that wasn't just a simple kneel down. Here's the Wisconsin/Northwestern play for reference. Quote
casimir Posted October 9, 2023 Posted October 9, 2023 Bowling Green beat Georgia Tech at Georgia Tech. Georgia Tech beat Miami at Miami. I’m pining for Miami at Bowling Green. Somebody needs to make that happen. Quote

They recently bought out a 3 game series with Louisville and are rumored to be looking at FCS opponents. I know some around here might think it’s Michigan, but they never schedule anyone of substance anyway, so they wouldn’t need to buy anyone out. Quote
