I was encouraged when they took all those walks back and June, but that faded quickly and here we are 15 in a row sat down by this guy. Most likely, pitchers adjusted to them and the Tigers hitters were talented enough to respond. Quote
Adullin Posted September 7, 2023 Posted September 7, 2023 Getting it close with 6 outs to get at least one run. I'm ok with this. Quote

AZTigersfan Posted September 7, 2023 Posted September 7, 2023 (edited) Absolutely cannot let Kelly hit there and that’s exactly what Hinch does. Smh Edited September 7, 2023 by AZTigersfan 1 Quote
gehringer_2 Posted September 7, 2023 Posted September 7, 2023 Yankee's had enough luck early to win two games. But down to two hitters again, the Tigers will be playing for lottery balls. Quote
Adullin Posted September 7, 2023 Posted September 7, 2023 Tigers had bases loaded and got 0 from it. That was the ballgame to me. Quote

gehringer_2 Posted September 7, 2023 Posted September 7, 2023 can somebody please get the kid some shoes made from hockey skate uppers before he pitches again? Quote
RandyMarsh Posted September 7, 2023 Posted September 7, 2023 Season starts with a line drive off the foot and ends with a line drive off the foot. Just terrible luck. The good news is that it isn't his arm and he was pitching great to end the season so atleast his season ended with him pitching well instead of getting rocked for several starts. I'm still bullish on him going forward but hopefully he will prove me wrong and end up being a mid 3s ERA pitcher going forward. Quote

As long as there’s no repeat of the Dizzy Dean All-Star Game debacle, there’s reason to believe he could still come back from this. Hopefully he won’t let all this get into his head. Quote
