RandyMarsh Posted September 17, 2023 Share Posted September 17, 2023 Not every play is set up or called to be a big gain, you call certain plays to set up your opposition for plays down the road so just cause the Lions run for 2 yards it doesn't mean that was a bad play call. It's no different then a pitcher in baseball throwing what appears to be a waste pitch but in reality he is throwing it to set the batter up for the next pitch(es).
