As the old guys that started in radio have retired it seems not many guys even try to do a real running PBP for hockey anymore. Daniels certainly doesn't. Maybe the assumption is that now that hockey is telecast on big 16:9 screens they don't really need to, and maybe they are right. I don't think any sport benefited more from wide screen TV than hockey. Quote
