It felt great to make this thread I can't lie, hockey is almost back!

 

Anisimov is an interesting invite.  Hutchinson is another surprising invite with what they did in the offseason imo.

I didn't realize Chiarot isn't in camp yet, his father passed away so he's dealing with that.  Hope he and his family can find some solace in each other right now.

He got cleared for contact at the beginning of camp surprisingly.  I read a story that he and Beggren were getting into it with Larkin and Seider in camp which I found interesting.  Good to see some fire from the boys at least...

danielson tracked back and stole the puck at center ice, then after rhe dump in he took the puck off the guy in the corner to get possession, then finished after the hirose pass.

I thought him taking the puck and making the little dish to the defenseman for the Wings to reset was a very veteran-like move.  Just from what I've seen this offseason I think I have bumped Danielson above Kasper in my personal prospect rankings.

Danielson turns 19 today...so he only has to play one more year of junior hockey if he doesn't make the Wings this year.  Shame he can't go to the AHL...

i dont think there's any way he makes the wings this year.  too many in front of him.

and they were playing the pens' AHL team last night.  they should have dominated (and they did).

I think Cossa could be on the Jimmy Howard growth plan...park him in GR for a few years and he's good to go.  Let's hope it's not the McCollum plan where he's never good to go
