OC has to call a play for him. He can’t call plays for himself. How Ben Johnson has escaped any blame for utilizing his two fastest players virtually none whatsoever this year is the greatest escape.

X-rays are negative for Montgomery.  In the past the players would take the pain blocker. Not seeing that as much any more.

Seriously. How can you call Ben Johnson an amazing OC when he runs it on every single 2nd and long. He will never do anything different. The defenses don’t even pretend we might pass. It gets stuffed every single time. This madness has to stop.

Easily could have been a FG 10 yards closer if we had an OC that did anything other than run on 2nd and long. 14 points in the 3rd quarter all season. He gets schooled after half time.

And TB moving at will.  Lions are one of the worst 3rd quarter teams in the NFL. They are the worst at making adjustments.
