From the little I've seen lately he still seems to be playing hard he just has zero offense? Get him a sports psychologist or something. Has to be something like depression or a painful divorce or something. I can’t think of a player in any sport falling off a cliff so hard since Dontrelle Willis. Quote

Could be the Miller trade has made him such a pariah in his own locker room that he finds himself out there as more or less a solo skater (i.e. no teamwork) so all he can do is keep his head down make the play in front of him. And now it's become a catch-22. He needs to be moved but no-one will take the contract until he plays better and Canucks won't take the loss. Easy front office move to criticize in hindsight but they should have moved them both at the same time. Edited March 4 by gehringer_2 Quote

They were hoping I'd play like Raymond did there, which could serve as a confidence boost and springboard to a better final 1/3 of the season with the Canucks. Or at the very least would have served as a showcase to the rest of the NHL that in a new environment Petersson could thrive again if the Canucks decided to move on from him. Quote

lordstanley Posted Friday at 07:23 PM Author Posted Friday at 07:23 PM Mrazek wasn’t a goalie I had in mind, but I was interested in adding to that position since Talbot and Lyon seem to be running out of steam. So fine Quote
Mr.TaterSalad Posted Friday at 07:27 PM Posted Friday at 07:27 PM Are we shipping another goalie out? Are we rolling with all three of Lyon, Mrazek, and Talbot? Quote
1984Echoes Posted Friday at 07:28 PM Posted Friday at 07:28 PM "Moving the deck chairs around" they're calling it and that's fine... They lost Copp so Smith is a band aid. Agree on Mrazek. I'm looking to shift over to Cossa this season or next season... So I'm just guessing... but Talbot might still be moved... Quote
