He is such a bizarre case.  From the little I've seen lately he still seems to be playing hard he just has zero offense?  Get him a sports psychologist or something.

Has to be something like depression or a painful divorce or something. I can’t think of a player in any sport falling off a cliff so hard since Dontrelle Willis.

Could be the Miller trade has made him such a pariah in his own locker room that he finds himself out there as more or less a solo skater (i.e. no teamwork) so all he can do is keep his head down make the play in front of him.

And now it's become a catch-22. He needs to be moved but no-one will take the contract until he plays better and Canucks won't take the loss. Easy front office move to criticize in hindsight but they should have moved them both at the same time.

His poor play at the 4 Nations spooked Canucks fans too. They were hoping I'd play like Raymond did there, which could serve as a confidence boost and springboard to a better final 1/3 of the season with the Canucks. Or at the very least would have served as a showcase to the rest of the NHL that in a new environment Petersson could thrive again if the Canucks decided to move on from him.

do your friends still think a pettersson trade "starts with seider"?  lol.  ummmm....no.

canucks will have to eat a good chunk of that salary to move him now.

marchand out for weeks so probably not getting moved.

That’s a nice cap hit to get Rantanen locked up. I’d pay him that much.

sounds like stankoven and 2 first rounders.

wings really arent in a position to make a deal like that.

"Moving the deck chairs around" they're calling it and that's fine...

They lost Copp so Smith is a band aid. Agree on Mrazek.

I'm looking to shift over to Cossa this season or next season...

So I'm just guessing... but Talbot might still be moved...
