I don't know who needs or wants to hear this, but here's a random NHL fact I know. Did you know that Tony Twist only had 28 total points over his entire 10 year career. That's an average of 2.8 points per year. Just thought people might want to know that.

Wild. I love factoids like that. Send more when you come across them.

It turns out that around 5,000 seats have  some type of obstructed view in Utah’s rink.      Would you go to a game where you could only see one net?  This is crazy.

My boss gave me his season tickets for the night.

I am wearing my Jared Goff jersey.

Update: I got seven different reactions to the Goff jersey, all positive.

One guy started a Jared Goff chant with me. One commiserated over the Bears misery with me (Commies fan). Several just said “Go Lions!”

It’s nice to be proud to wear this jersey rather than just getting others’ sympathy.

For anyone still pining for Walman

Your post got me curious about how Jakub Vrana is doing these days. Actually surprised he is still in the league, although looks to be marginally.

I think he made the caps on a player try out contract?  I was surprised he made the team either way, I think he scored in the first game like he always does lol.  I'm very surprised he's in the NHL, hopefully he's figured out whatever was affecting him previously.

I've admittedly not watched many non-Wings games this season. Can someone explain to me how the Capitals are now a first place team after being on a clear decline the past couple of seasons. Did they have a great offseason that I missed out on? I know that they added Chychrun and Roy in the offseason, but is that enough to catapult them into being the best team in the East and third best team overall in the NHL?
