I wasn't asked to stop.    Everyone was asked if they agreed with a ceasefire between me and MotownBummers and I accepted the offer and gave the reasoning.   Bummers hasn't accepted it yet.

The war would end immediately if you were to simply lay down your weapons and release your hostages.

Assuming this wasn't a Biden slip up where he simply said more than he should have and this was purposefully said, then I have to believe he's been telling Netanyahu for awhile and has been getting spurned.

I really don't have a problem with Israel continuing this war, but only if they have some plan in place....realistic plan in place I should say. But going off all nilly willy, you don't get our support if that's the case.

I hate Sabra hummus but in the Seinfeld "It offends me as a comedian" way.  I had no idea of it's ownership status, or that Sabra meant what they said "A jew born in Israel".

And Sabra Price is Right is one of the funniest SNL sketches ever.  There's about 15 catch phrases from this sketch my friends and I use to this day... and this proves Tom Hanks could have been one of the best cast members ever if he chose to.

We already knew hardly anyone at campuses were involved in these protests, even though the media makes it look like every campus in the country is completely falling apart. Honestly, I'm surprised it's as high as eight percent.

College protests against the war in Gaza are dominating headlines. But only a sliver of students are participating or view it as a top issue, according to a new Generation Lab survey shared exclusively with Axios.

Why it matters: The poll hints that the war — and the accompanying protests — might not hurt President Biden's election prospects among young voters as much as previously thought.

By the numbers: Only a small minority (8%) of college students have participated in either side of the protests, the survey of 1,250 college students found.

Hamas still exists. Hamas still wants to eradicate the Jews. Israel’s objective has not changed since the outset of this war. The objective is to eliminate Hamas, whatever it takes.
Unlike the US, Israel will not abandon an objective (Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan) until the goal is accomplished. Americans get bored with war after the first few months and go back to what they do. What happened to all the Ukrainian flags that were flying everywhere after Putins initial assaults? Americans got bored and moved on to something else.

Israel can’t operate that way. They live in full survival mode 24/7. Biden can make it a more difficult task for Israel if he chooses. Biden is playing into Israel’s enemies hands with his threats to cut off military supplies. Iran and all its proxies cheer Biden’s lack of public support. Israel has to play by different rules. Imagine Canada and Mexico vowing forever to eradicate all Americans. Different world.
The US can be a fickle ally when it wants to.

The Biden administration notified Congress on Tuesday that it was moving forward with more than $1 billion in new weapons deals for Israel, U.S. and congressional officials said, a massive arms package less than a week after the White House paused a shipment of bombs over a planned Israeli assault on Rafah.

The latest weapons package includes the potential transfer of $700 million in tank ammunition, $500 million in tactical vehicles and $60 million in mortar rounds, the officials said.
