Speaking of complete chaos, how do think Russia and its allies would respond to your scenario? How do you think the US would respond? This is where it would get really interesting. Likely, too interesting.

I don't think Russia would do much.  Russia appreciates Iran being disruptive, but my guess is they'd prefer to be friendly with Saudi Arabia over Iran anyway.

“War all the time”

North Korea has sent hundreds of special forces to eastern Russia for training in recent weeks, according to South Korea’s main intelligence agency, as Moscow relies on Pyongyang and other partners, including Iran, to support its war effort in Ukraine.

Russian naval vessels transported around 1,500 North Korean special-forces troops to Russia this month, and Pyongyang has plans eventually to send as many as 12,000 soldiers to assist Russia, according to South Korea’s National Intelligence Service.

Israel’s top cease-fire negotiator made a new offer to Hamas leaders: Enjoy safe passage to another country if you lay down your arms and release the hostages.

The proposal from Israeli spy chief David Barnea, made in a meeting with Egyptian officials this past week to break the impasse, was swiftly rejected by the U.S.-designated terrorist group, Arab mediators said.

Khalil al-Hayya, Hamas’s top cease-fire negotiator, said the offer showed how Israel was still misreading the group and warned it could continue fighting for months, if not years, the mediators said.

Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu “has reiterated that we are willing to give them safe passage if they lay down their arms and release the hostages,” said Ophir Falk, the prime minister’s foreign-policy adviser. “At the same time, anyone who will hurt the hostages will be hunted down.”

Hamas didn’t respond to a request for comment.

expect two waves, the 1st taking out air defense assets, and the second to hit the objectives.

1967 all over again.

Best take away from the IDF raid in Iran: Iran is completely defenseless against Israeli (or US) air power. Their Russian AD systems failed to take down a single IDF aircraft over the course of IDF attacks on at least 4 separate sites. In fact the IDF deliberately took out air defenses around critical Iranian facilities while leaving the facilities just to make the point about what happens next time.

Unless they are completely delusional, that should give the Mullahs more pause than the damage the IDF actually did.

They should hold the press conference at The Great Commoner in Dearborn, where Trump visited the Friday before Election Day, and invite the mayors of Dearborn Hts and Hamtramck along. They both endorsed him.  Lots of “double takes” going on in my fine city.  Wait for the deportations.

I hope Trump clears out Dearborn. We warned them. We pleaded with them. We begged them. They still voted for Trump. Short term pain for long term gain, they said. If you're facing deportation, contact Rashida Tlaib or the Dearborn mayor for the next step in the plan. I have no more ****s to give. I don't want to see some Arab family on local 4 sobbing because the husband is being deported and will be killed as soon as his plane touches down. Familiarize yourselves with Canada's asylum laws. I'm so done with Democrats being the parents, being the adults that have to save the kids. It's time for some tough love and for them to face the consequences. It's like the problem child who gets arrested all the time; we're not bailing them out this time. Give their gas stations and party stores to blacks to run. Black jobs and all.

Not caring if people get deported and killed because they didn't vote the way you wanted sounds very Trumpy to me.

They literally voted for it! They said "short term pain for long term gain." They knew the stakes. This isn't something they didn't know. It's not something Trump didn't promise. They wanted to punish Biden and, by punish, send him to a comfortable retirement in Delaware.

I don't care.  Nobody should want to see people killed over politics.

Unfortunately, elections have consequences. Trump is going to ruin the lives of so many different people that I have no sympathy for the people who voted for Trump and called Dems genociders.

I'm reading the Dearborn Mayor's Twitter feed; does this guy do anything for Dearborn? It's literally nonstop Gaza and anti-Israel.

He actually does.  He uses his feed just for that topic it seems like.  He’s a good mayor otherwise.  I’ve seen so many positive changes in service and operations. If you didn’t see his twitter feed or see him on fox 2 arguing it on The Edge or whatever you would never know those things.  He doesn’t talk about it in public or appearances.  I don’t like his take on that issue but I have met him twice and he’s fine. When running for office I had a sign up for his opponent, who is a friend.  He said “I guess you don’t want any literature?”  I was outside raking leaves. I told him “nothing personal. He’s a friend and I always told him to run once O’reilly was done so I have to support him”.  He said “I can’t argue with that”.  I also told him that this wasn’t a Trump thing and if he wins I know he will do well.  I voted for him already in is state races.

you all know my position on this war.  But once it entered into Lebanon I started seeing the fear in some of my friends.  They have family and friends in the line of fire. When they see each other they immediately ask if everything is ok.

the mayor did not endorse Trump.  He only said Harris didn’t earn his endorsement but told people that Trump cannot win and to vote their conscience.  Yes he was toeing tbe line and being cute.  But the mayors of Dearborn Heights and Hamtramck endorsed Trump.   The  Dearborn mayor would not have changed anybody’s mind really.
