Weird thing about the Leafs is how few regulation wins they have. At 5, they are tied with Chicago and S.J. for next to last in the NHL for wins after 60 minutes. Only Montreal with 4 has  fewer. Even their ROWs of 8 are better than only 4 teams in the  NHL.  The Wings’ goal differential of +17 is 3rd in the East behind only Boston +19 and NYR +18. The Leafs are +3.

I'm absolutely heartbroken for them.  Second time this has happened and so late in the pregnancy after announcing it.  I can't imagine what they're going through.

I would be cool with riding Lyon's hot hand until it goes off the rails, I think he had a hot stretch for the Panthers last season too
